Phylogenies as graphics: toward understanding the evolutionary processes

Description

The overall objective of this course is to demonstrate the use of phylogenies as "graphics" to infer processes phylogeographic and evolutionary genomics. To achieve this objective the course will show the theoretical foundations of phylogenetic reconstruction, then give way to meetings where phylogenetic reconstruction will be used to infer evolutionary mechanisms.
