Our friend and colleague Dr. Vicente Ortuño, we announced the new discovery a carabid subspecies in the north of the country, dedicated to Dr. José María Salgado. The article was signed by Vicente Ortuño, Javier Arturo Baz Frese and three experts and researchers with whom we collaborate. And also, our friend Ana Sofia Reboleira tells us The new description of the first gender staphylinids Domene is hypogeum Portugal. The article was published in the journal Zootaxa, and signed by Ana Sofia Reboleira, F. Pedro Gonçalves Oromí, characterizing it as Domene (Latrhomene) lusitanica. This species has been caught in caves in northern Portugal, and as we have named, is the first hypogean species of this genus.
